| Pafra Ltd has announced the transfer
all of its interests in its adhesives business to Pafra Adhesives
Ltd from 1 November 2000. The new company will continue to operate
from its base at Bentalls, Basildon, Essex, SS14 3BU and has just
completed the installation of additional plant and equipment and a
move to a new R&D Laboratory. |

| The Company, a producer of water
based synthetic adhesives for over forty years, has built a premier
reputation for innovation, quality, service and value. This reputation
will be further enhanced by the transformation that results from an
in-depth review of the changes taking place in the industry and how
it can best serve customers' needs in the future. |

| The new company, focused solely
on the adhesives business, will devote all of its considerable experience
and resource on continuing the development of new products. The dedicated
management team of new and experienced members is in place to serve

| Pafra Adhesives Ltd. shortly expects
to announce on-going additions to its product range and services.
It is likely that the Company will open up new industrial application
areas in the future. |

| Interests in its Equipment Division
were transferred to Pafra Systems Ltd in August 2000 following the
acquisition by W.H. Leary Co. Pafra Systems Ltd has continued with
the people and products at its existing facility in Basildon, England.
