The Max Kochmann award

The Max Kochmann award was created by BASA Council in 2002 as a tribute the man who had been instrumental in creating BASA by bringing BAMA (the adhesives manufacturers association) and the Sealants Association together to form BASA. Max was the first Chairman of BASA and was made Life President of the Association when he retired. The award was created in memory of Max following his death in September 2001 and is awarded to the person or member company of the Association that is deemed to have made a significant contribution to the work and development of the Association in the opinion of Council.
