Adhesives come in many forms and via many different chemistries and are formulated to solve different problems with different features. When using and designing with adhesives the selection of the correct adhesive is essential not only to ensure a bond tough enough to withstand the life cycle of the product but also to be cost effective in use both in terms of monetary cost and productivity of manufacture.  Pafra adhesives is primarily a water based adhesive manufacturer, supplying adhesives based on the following chemistries.

•    Polyvinyl Acetate (PVA) - High performance, low adhesion & cost effective
•    Ethylene / Vinyl Acetate Copolymers (EVA) - Similar benefits to PVA but higher adhesion and increased flexibility
•    Hot melt VAE / PUR / Metallocene - Extremely Fast Bonding, Good Environmental Performance, High Adhesion
•    Polyurethane Dispersions (PUD) - High Environmental Tolerance, High Performance & Extremely High Adhesion
•    Acrylics - Very Good Film Forming Properties and excellent Adhesion
•    Starch & Dextrin - Natural Glues, Exceptional Wet Tack, Unique Flow Characteristics
•    Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVOH) - Lowest Cost, High Wet Tack Adhesion
